YouTube joins Silicon Valley peers in pre-election QAnon clampdown

Google-owned YouTube said Thursday it is taking broad action against the QAnon conspiracy theory, better aligning its policies with Twitter and Facebook in the critical weeks before the presidential election.

YouTube said that it would update its hate and harassment policies to "prohibit content that targets an individual or group with conspiracy theories that have been used to justify real-world violence."..
