ISTANBUL - President Donald Trump said Thursday it appears that Jamal Khashoggi is dead and warned that his administration could consider ”very severe” measures against Saudi Arabia, sharply raising pressures on the kingdom as it prepares its own accounting of the journalist’s disappearance.
